Hyderabad, April 27: EAMCET 2011 entrance exam for admissions into Engineering, Medicine and Agricultural courses will be held on May 22, 2011. Issue of exam hall tickets have been started from the day before i:e April 25 and will be continued till May 2. The exam hall tickets can be collected by candidates from respective regional centres, by showing their acknowledgment cards. The candidates, who do not collect their hall tickets in person, would be sent the same by post after May 2.
Till now 3,46,928 applications have been registered for EAMCET 2011 of which 2,78,491 are of engineering and 68,437 are of medicine and agriculture. The total number of exam centres will be 668.
EAMCET engineering exam will be held between 10 am to 1 pm while medicine and agriculture exam will be held between 2:30 to 5 pm.
To prevent malpractices in the entrance examination biometric fingerprinting of candidates will be introduced this time. The biometric reading device will take the thumb impressions and photographs of candidates before they enter the examination hall.
