Hyderabad, August 02: E Rajendar has been reelected as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party (TRSLP) Leader here today. The newly-elected TRS MLAs met at Telangana Bhavan under the chairmanship of party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The meeting elected the new body for the TRSLP. The meeting was attended by 10 MLAs out 11.
Yellareddy MLA E Ravindhar Reddy could not attend the meeting for personal reasons.
TRS chief’s close relative T Hareesh Rao, who was elected for the fourth time with a record majority from Siddipet Assembly constituency, was elected as TRSLP deputy leader. K Eshwar (Dharmapuri) was elected as TRSLP secretary and E Ravindar Reddy would discharge his duties as whip of the TRSLP.
All the MLA would take oath tomorrow in the Speaker’s chamber in the Assembly after visiting the Gun Park. They would take a pledge at the Gun Park to continue the movement in and outside the Assembly.
