Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali had an opportunity to personally observe the lack of discipline among staff of Minority Institutions. When he made a surprise visit to Waqf Board on Wednesday at 11 am most of the employees had not turned up. He directed to give details regarding the attendance of employees but the officers giving the excuse of biometric system said that the attendance register is not available. Officers and workers of several sections didn’t reach the office till 11 am.
Officers told Deputy Chief Minister that most of the workers had gone out for official work but Mr. Mohammed Ali directed to furnish print out of the day’s attendance from biometric system.
He remained in the Hajj House for atleast 3 hours inspecting other minority institutions, but he was not furnished printout of attendance of Waqf Board employees.
