Hyderabad: Hajj preparations have begun at Special Hajj Terminal at Shamsabad International Airport. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali will visit Hajj Terminal along with high officials on August 17 and will take stock of the arrangements along with the officials of GMR Company.
Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor informed that GMR officials have assured better arrangements like previous year. He further informed that Air India will provide Zam Zam to the pilgrims. Hajj Committee will handover Zam Zam to pilgrims after their return from the Holy Pilgrimage. He directed the officials to avoid distributing perfumed tissue paper while travelling as it is prohibited to even smell the fragrance in the state of Ihram.
The first batch of pilgrims will be flagged off by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on August 21.
