Dy CM sends letter to Central Hajj Committee to ensure Rubat accommodation

Government has begun serious efforts to ensure Rubat accommodation to Telangana Hajj pilgrims. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali sent a letter to Central Hajj Committee to seek accommodation for Hajj pilgrims in Hyderabad Rubat in Makkah.

Central Hajj Committee has been requested to seek permission from Saudi authorities for accommodation in Hyderabad Rubat before selecting buildings for stay. It must be noted that pilgrims from the erstwhile Hyderabad State have been deprived of free accommodation in the Rubat constructed by the Nizam at Makkah in Saudi Arabia for the past two years because of the ongoing dispute between Rubat caretaker and Awqaf Committee. Pilgrims selected for stay in Rubat save nearly 35 thousand rupees.
