Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Friday visited the camp office of Awqaf Committee in Chiran Palace Mosque premises in KBR Park and reviewed the progress of distribution of permits for free accommodation for Haj pilgrims at Nizam Rubath in the holy city of Mecca in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Secretary of Awqaf Committee informed the Deputy CM that the Haj Committee of India have sent 597 permits for distribution among Haj pilgrims. So far, 207 pilgrims have applied for free accommodation and about 100 of them have already collected the permits to stay for free at Nizam Rubath. (INN)
