Dy CM releases Haj Application Forms

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali released the Haj Application Forms for Haj 2018  at Haj House in Nampally on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy CM said that the Telangana state stood at No. 1 position in the matter of Haj services in the country. He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao was interested in providing better service to the Haj pilgrims. The State Government allocated a budget of Rs. 3.00 crores for the State Haj Committee, he said and appreciated the efforts of Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer Telangana State Haj committee.

Advisor to TS Government (Minorities Affairs) A. K. Khan advised the Haj pilgrims to practice walking and take light food, as it would benefit them during Haj journey.

Wakf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem said that better arrangements would be made for Haj pilgrims this year.

Prof. Shukoor explained the salient features of the Haj 2018. MLC Mohammed Farooq Hussain, Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel and other officials were also present. (INN
