Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya laid foundation stone to double bed-room flats at Indira Nagar under Khairatabad constituency on Monday.
Addressing the gathering later, Talasani said the State government would construct double bedroom flats for 172 families on a 1.5 acre land. The construction of houses will be completed within one year. The houses would be allotted by a lottery system after completion of construction of flats. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was keen on developing all slums in the city, he said and exhorted the people not to give any money to middlemen as the government would allot the houses directly.
