Dy CM launches e-stamps facility

Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali today unveiled e-stamps facility that paves way for paying online stamps duty using https://registration.telangana.gov.in. Speaking on the occasion Ali who also holds revenue wing said that the department registered a 24 per cent growth in revenue collection by collecting Rs 3750 cr during 2014-15. The revenues received include the stamps duty and registration fee of Rs 3100 cr and Rs 650 cr of transfer duty to the government he maintained. The new facility is fool-proof and online payments can be made into designated banks or can make payments at the 900 plus branches of SBH. (NSS)
