Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali congratulated chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao for the decision taken in the meeting of state cabinet regarding minorities. He told that the decisions taken by state cabinet, in connection with development of minorities and protection of Waqf properties, are historic. No other government in the past took such historic decisions right one month after the formation of government.
Rs. 1000 crore for minority welfare, setting up of commission to provide 12 percent reservation to Muslims, judicial powers to Waqf Board, setting up of Waqf tribunal, educational aid to continue professional courses indicate his Muslim friendly attitude, said Mr. Mahmood Ali.
