Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Dr. T Rajaiah pledged that no poor person will be deprived of basic medical facilities and his government will ensure provision of modern medical facilities in each village so that poor people need not have to travel to urban areas for treatment.
Dr. T Rajaiah who is a doctor by occupation, have been appointed as the first deputy chief minister of Telangana State. Sr. Rajaiah belongs to SC class and hails from Warangal district. His wife Mrs. S Fatima Marry is a senior Librarian.
In an exclusive interview to Siasat Mr. Rajaiah admitted that due to lack of medical facilities in government hospitals people are forced to head for private and corporate hospitals. Dr. Rajaiah vowed that he will improve the standard of government hospitals by providing state of art medical facilities on state level in all the districts of Telangana.
