Dy. CM distributes health cards

Keeping its word, the Telangana Government today handed over Health Cards to the State employees.
Giving away health cards among the leaders of employees’ association, Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah at Secretariat here, he said the government is bearing total medical expenses of the employees and pensioners for their welfare. The cards will be effective from November 1, he said, adding that the health cards will help the employees in a big way.
The Deputy Chief Minister appreciated the employees for their pivotal role in achieving Telangana and asked them to transform it into a Golden State in future. The government will take total care of the employees, who on their part have to play as a bridge between the people and the government. Some 50 employees were given health cards. According to the information, about 16 lakh health cards will be given to employees and pensioners, who will get individual cards to their family members.
Speaking on the occasion, association leaders Devisri Prasad and Srinivas Goud thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for keeping his word on health cards. (NSS)
