Dy CM for corrupt free governance

Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali today stated that the TRS Government is committed to offer corrupt free governance with a focus on welfare and development of the State.
Promising to keep the promise of providing free KG to PG education to poor students in the state, he said the government will meet the expectations of people. During an official visit to Hyderabad District Collectorate here, Ali directed the educational institutions to make all arrangements to get prior permissions to offer KG to PG education and provide facilities and infrastructure. Vacant posts like surveyors and others in the department will be filled while modernizing the Collectorate. He directed the officials concerned to conduct a special meeting to sort out their problems related to permissions and providing of facilities.
Reacting to the closure of schools for lacking adequate permission, he said the schools and educational institutions should equip all facilities and ensure their students excel in their endeavors. Of 2,000 government schools, it was identified that 119 schools failed to get recognition, he said, adding that they will liberalise rules for extending hassle-free procedures for the schools. He asked the schools and officials to work in tandem to ensure that the schools offer the best teaching facilities.
District Collector RK Meena expressed discontent on the schools for failing to follow the norms related to Right to Education came into being four years ago. The schools should not violate the norms and instead update and upgrade themselves to offer the best of education. The schools are supposed to offer free education to 25 per cent of poor students besides collecting the fees as per government guidelines, he said, Those who failed to follow suit will be dealt with strictly, the Collector warned.
