Dy CM assures to include Urdu as compulsory subject

Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana State, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali during his stay in Jeddah accepted the resolution submitted by Urdu Academy Jeddah at a meeting. He assured academy authorities and NRI organisations that Telangana government was firm on its aim to give Urdu its due place. Education department will be soon directed to include Urdu language as compulsory subject in all schools.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and other ministers have time and again announced their aim through media that Telangana State on the lines of Asif Jah VII will include Urdu as compulsory subject.
