Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Thursday assured that the Telangana Government would construct an Outer Ring Road for Warangal on the lines of Hyderabad’s ORR.
The Deputy CM said that a Mega Textiles Park was coming up in Warangal and it would increase lot of economic activity leading to congestion of existing roads. Therefore, he said it is proposed to construct 74-km long ORR for Warangal. Further, he said Qazipet ROB would be turned into a four-lane road soon.
Kadiam said that the State Government has given for extension of Information Technology Park and three major IT projects would soon come up in Warangal.
He said while TRS Government completed 44 months in power, he completed 36 months as Deputy CM. He said that the State Government has been successfully implementing various development schemes and nearly Rs. 40,000 crore were being spent annually on welfare of various sections of the society. (INN)
