Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Rajanarsimha on Thursday appealed to Telangana activists not to give scope for violence during Telangana March on September 30.
Speaking to the media in his chamber in the Secretariat, Rajanarsimha said that they (Telangana ministers) would convey their opinion to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Telangana March. He appealed to the Telangana activists not to resort to violence and vandalism during the March.
The Deputy Chief Minister felt that it was an undisputed fact that gross injustice was meted out to Telangana region in the past 48 years’ rule of Andhra leaders. The people of Telangana were totally dissatisfied and demanding separate State since the very formation of Andhra Pradesh.
Stating that Telangana issue was a sensitive one, he said that if any one tried to insult the sentiment of Telangana people, it would provoke them. (NSS)
