Dy CM announces to release Rs. 1 Cr for Shifakhana Charminar

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mohammed Mahmood Ali is taking serious measures to promote the Unani system of medicines no progress is made due to lack of representation by the Unani department. He was addressing a function in connection with the Unani day held here at Nizamia Government Tibbi College and General Hospital (Shifakhana Charminar).

Mr Mahmood Ali said in the past Rs. 50 lakh was sanctioned for outpatients block, the cheque was also prepared but hospital administration didn’t come forward to collect the cheque.

He announced to release Rs. 1 Cr from his personal budget for the development of Unani Tibbi College and Shifakhana Charminar.

Director Ayush Mr Rajendra Kumar Reddy, Additional director Mir Yousuf Ali, Principal College Shahzadi Begum, Vice Principal Hamedullah Khan Quadri, Superintendent hospital Parveen Sultana, Mr A A Khan, Mr Abul Hasan Ashraf and others attended the function.
