Dy. C.M. and Janna Reddy threatened to resign

Protesting against the illegal arrests of Congress M.P’s and other agitators, Dy. C.M. Damodhar Raja Narimha and Pancharayath Raj Minister threatened to resign from their posts if C.M. Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy fails to stop the police from preventing the people coming to attend the Telangana March.

They said that Govt. has already given permission for Telangana March.

Police arrested G.Sukhender Reddy, Poonam Prabhakar, Dr. K.Keshava Rao, G.Vivek when they were proceeding towards Necklace Road in a rally procession. They were again arrested after their release.

Police used tear gas shells and arrested a few students of Osmania University when they wanted to take out a rally to join Telangana March. Mr. Jana Reddy questioned why did the police use tear gas and why did it stop them from going to the March.

Mr. Damodhar Raja Narasimha blamed police for resorting to violence.

He told that police resorted to lathi charge on Osmania University students and the other agitators at Secretariat to disperse them.

Mr. Anurag Sharma, on the other hand declared that permission has been given for holding March at Necklace Road from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. no permission has been given for taking out rallies in the city.
