Due to the lethargy and carelessness of the Govt. many Wakf properties are being damaged due to which many antisocial elements are occupying these properties. The tragedy is that most of the wakf properties Govt. is misusing.
It is a welcome gesture that Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, Spcial Officer of Wakf Board has acted honestly. Madina education and Welfare Society has been occupying illegally wakf properties for the past so many years. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Mohammed Kazim Ali Khan, President of Ambedkar National Congress in a press statement issued yesterday. He further told that valuable wakf properties in Saheb Nagar in Ranga District has been illegally possessed by miscreants.150 acres of Ashurkhana land has been usurped by antisocial elements. They are selling this land by marking the plots. This property is registered in wakf gazette of 2000 under survey number 31/D.
He hoped that Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal will take necessary action to save this wakf property also.
