The Delhi University Teacher’s Association (DUTA) and student groups will stage a protest on Tuesday reportedly demanding probe into the restructuring of courses for the Four-Year-Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) programme for students who took admissions in 2013.
Both DUTA and the students groups are calling for a meeting with the Delhi University Academic Council on the issue, as per news reports.
The protest is expected to take place on Tuesday afternoon.
Admissions to DU were delayed due to a row between the varsity and the UGC over FYUP’s continuation.
In the end, the university decided to roll back the four-year undergraduate programme.
Meanwhile, the UGC has asked Delhi University to admit students for the 2014-15 session in three-year undergraduate programme, HRD Minister Smriti Irani had said.
