Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Limited (DIBPL), a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank UAE has been nominated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to facilitate its Hajj scheme.
DIBPL has become the first Islamic Bank in Pakistan ever to collect Hajj applications on behalf of the government. Intending pilgrims can obtain Hajj application forms from any branch of DIBPL across Pakistan. The Bank will accept Hajj applications on behalf of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on a first-come first-serve basis.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs intends to facilitate Hajj for 90,000 pilgrims this year and has proposed three different categories of the Hajj scheme depending on accommodation.
