Hyderabad: Siasat and Millat Fund in collaboration with Qureshi Educational and Welfare Society conducted second Du-ba-Du program for Qureshi community yesterday at Royal Regency Garden Function Hall, Asif Nagar.
Large number of parents and guardians belonging to Qureshi Community attended the program. The program started with the recitation of Quranic verses by Master Abu Bakar.
Mr. Qursheed Husain, President Jamaitul Quresh, Secunderabad, Mr. Mohammed Arif Qureshi, Mr. Mohammed Ishaq, Mr. Abdur Rasheed and others were seated at the dais. Mr. Mohammed Saleem welcomed the parents and guardians. He told that this program was conducted earlier also which yielded good results. He applauded the efforts of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily.
The speakers stressed the need for organizing such programs in various districts of Telangana and other States.
Mr. Qursheed Husain told that many unmarried girls are waiting for their weddings.
Mr. Meer Anwaruddin applauded the efforts of Siasat Urdu Daily.
During the program, Mr. Mohammed Farooq Qureshi who had come from Adilabad contacted Mr. Mohammed Asif and sought matrimonial alliance for his son.
The registration started at 11 a.m. In all, 50 registrations were made.
Facilities are available at Siasat Office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. wherein parents and guardians can contact for the matrimonial alliances of their children.
Imtiyaz Taranum Khan, Seema, Ramza and Ameena Begum registered the biodata of boys and girls. Mr. Mohammed Saleem conducted the program.
