Du-ba-Du Matrimonial Alliance Program – Youths should not be greedy: Maulana Abdul Malik

Hyderabad: Maulana Abdul Malik Mazhari, Director of Misbah-ul-uloom stressed the need for Muslim parents to prefer religious background in matrimonial alliances of their children. The concept of religiousness in Islam is lofty character and nobility. He told that matrimonial alliances are finalized in non-Muslims on the basis of wealth or caste but Islam given preference to good character. It is very regrettable that the Muslims prefer wealth and beauty in matrimonial alliances which are producing serious consequences.

He further told that Syed, Pathan, Moghal and Shaik are the sect for identification but these days, people are not entering into matrimonial alliances with each other based on these sects. As a result of which a Syed can marry only a girl from Syed family. Some people do not like to give their daughters to a Pathan. All such un-Islamic practices should be avoided.
