Hyderabad: Siasat Urdu Daily and Minorities Development Forum organized Du-ba-Du (Face-to-Face) Matrimonial Alliance Program in collaboration with Rahber-e-Rishta Society yesterday at Mahboob Nagar.
It was the 8th program held in Mahboob Nagar. A large number of parents and guardians of Muslim youths participated in this program. The function was presided over by Mr. Mohammed Akbar Al Mass, President Rahber-e-Rishta Society. Mr. Abid Siddiqui, President of MDF attended the function as Chief Guest. In his speech he told that the foremost condition in finalizing matrimonial alliances is religiosity. Dowry should be avoided since Islam has proclaimed it illegal. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to abandon un-Islamic rituals. He further told that the Du-ba-Du (Face-to-Face) Matrimonial Alliance program has been initiated by Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily with an objective to bring about a healthy revolution in Muslim society.
Mr. Abid Siddiqui further told that so far, 47 Du-ba-Du (Face-to-Face) Matrimonial Alliance programs have been conducted in Hyderabad city through which more than 5000 girls got married. This campaign is now spreading in Telangana districts which are yielding fruitful results. On this occasion, he thanked Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and said that he always patronizes such activities. He announced that free Hijama camp would be held in Mahboob Nagar next month.
Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahman Sufi, Vice President of the society, in his welcome speech, thanked the office bearers of MDF.
