UP: Pawan Yadav, one of the accused of the murder case of DSP Zia-ul-Haque wrote a letter from jail to the wife of the officer, Parveen Azad claiming that DSP Zia-ul-Haque was shot dead by the manager of the Raja Bhaiya, MLA.
In the letter Pawan claimed that officer was shot dead when he was standing contrary to the report of CBI. He also claimed that there are two eye-witnesses but due to the fear of Raja Bhaiya, they were forced to give false statement.
After receiving this letter, Parveen Azad decided to file a petition in High Court. Zia-ul-Haque was shot dead in the month of march, 2013.
It is to be noted that Raja Bhaiya was given clean chit by CBI and was later made minister in UP Government. However, court has rejected the final report of CBI.
