Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today said recruitment of teachers through District Selection Committees will be conducted very soon.
Inaugurating a three-day science fair at Saint Theresa School in Erragadda here today, the Deputy Chief Minister said a DSC notification will be released soon. He said the State government would conduct a science exhibition next year on a grand scale. Srihari also stated the notification was delayed due to reorganization of districts, revenue divisions and mandals in the State. The Government was ready to recruit teachers across the State by next academic year.
“Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wants to bring in some changes in the Education department to ensure that quality education is offered. Telangana will become No. 1 State in Education sector in the near future as steps and some reforms being adopted by the government. Gurukul schools are being started as part of the flagship program of KG-to-PG in the State. The Education department has gone out of gear during previous governments”, he said. The Deputy Chief Minister admitted that some more time was needed to put the Education department on right track.
As many as 600 students from 173 model schools from 31 districts participated in the science fair attended by Minister T Srinivas Yadav, MLC Janardhan Reddy and others. (NSS)
