Hyderabad: In the wake of drawing flak from various quarters against the delay in conducting DSC, the State government has finalized modalities and taken a decision to take up a recruitment drive for teachers this academic year.
According to the information, the State government will soon issue a notification to recruit 8,972 teacher posts. The Government has finalized guidelines for conducting DSC-2017 for recruiting teachers and taking steps for the recruitment drive. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has reportedly signed a related file to recruit teachers by conducting a drive. TSPSC will soon issue a notification for recruiting about 8972 teacher posts in the new districts.
Those who have qualified APTET, TSTET and C-TET are eligible for the posts and selection will be made based on nativity and the respective district. It is said that the selection of the teachers will be done as per qualification and weightage will be given to TET. According to informed sources, the government prepared modalities and directed the TSPSC to take up the recruitment drive. It is likely that the TSPSC will soon issue a related notification. (NSS)
