Special Advisor to Telangana State Government D Srinivas finally got his chambers at first floor in D Block that was vacated by former Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah who faced the axe on corruption charges.
Srinivas is expected to take charge of office as the special advisor to the government with cabinet rank on August 28, Friday considered auspicious. General administration department has issued orders to this effect on Wednesday, after 10 days of his appointment. DS has been waiting for the allocation of chambers despite chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao elevating him to a top post of sorts 10 days ago. DS will discharge his duties as the special advisor on inter state affairs and issues between the neighbouring states and may take up with the Centre. Telagnana Government has already six advisors for various departments. (NSS)
