Speaking to the media later, Srinivas said that he discussed about the strategies to be adopted by the party in the ensuing by-elections. He said that he had informed the party chief that despite the Telangana sentiments, party’s position in the region has considerably improved. He said that the Congress High Command was seriously considering the Telangana issue.
