Former minister Dharamapuri Srinivas has expressed happiness over his appointment as the Special Advisor to Telangana Government for Inter-State Affairs.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Srinivas said he would strive hard to perform the new responsibility assigned to him by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. In his new role as Special Advisor, he would try to achieve the ultimate goal of ‘Bangaru Telangana’. He thanked KCR for appointing him to the new post.
According to sources, the Chief Minister, who was camping in Yerravalli village in his Gajwel constituency of Medak district, called Srinivas over phone and informed him about the decision. (INN)
