Dry and hot day conditions prevails in UP

Lucknow, April 11: Mainly day and hot day conditions prevailed in the state while temperature fell appreciably in Meerut, Agra and Moradabad divisions.

According to UP Metereological department, weather was mainly dry in the state’. Yesterday, day temperature rose in Varanasi and Allahabad divisions, fell appreciably in Moradabad, Agra and Meerut divisions and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.

In the last 24 hrs, Varanasi (airport) recorded the highest temperature of 40.3 degree Celsius.

Lucknow recorded maximum temperature of 36.8 degrees, Kanpur 38.2 degrees, Agra 34.6 degrees, Gorakhpur 37.4 degrees, Meerut 32.4 degrees, Jhansi 39.6 degrees and Bareilly 33.6 degrees.

The weather office has forecast rain/thundershower at isolated places in North West UP and weather would be mainly dry in rest of the state.

The weatherman has warned of isolated duststorm/thunderstorm accompanied with squall at isolated places over Saharanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad and Meerut divisions during next 48 hrs.
