Hyderabad: Nampally criminal court today suspended driving licence of Telugu TV anchor M. Pradeep for three years on charges of drunk driving. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,100 on him.
It may be mentioned here that Pradeep was caught driving in an inebriated condition during a vehicle checking drive on December 31 night on Jubilee Hills Road No 45 and his BMW car was seized. His Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) levels were found to be 178 mg/ml, which was above permissible level. The Traffic police caught Pradeep like any other drunk driver. He too had to undergo a counseling session, for which he turned up at the Traffic Training Institute (TTI) at Goshamahal last Monday. (NSS)
