New Delhi: while going to the wedding three suffered burn injuries when they were attacked with the acid by a drunker at night on Saturday.
According to Times of India, two girls and their father were supposed to attend the wedding near to their home at west Delhi’s Khyala.
Police was informed and there were rushed to Safdarjung hospital at 10pm. One of the girls who was eldest daughter,14-year-old burnt 40% and was admitted in the ICU. While the younger girl, 11-year-old had 20% burns and the father 10% burns siad by the doctors.
Later the victim who was admitted in ICU shifted to a private hospital near their house.
The drunkard ask the girls to drink with him when the family was returning and hardly metres away from their home. When the father screamed at him he left from there and again came back after few seconds asking the same, the father slapped the drunkard and warned him not to come again otherwise he will call the police.
The drunkard was holding a bottle and immediately opened it and threw the acid at the father and two daughters.
DCP (west) Vijay Kumar said, “We received a call from the mother of the girls about the incident. A case has been registered on a complaint by the victims.”
The accused Raghav Mukhiya (26),residence of Sitamari, Raghubir Nagar got arrested at his home by the police and confirmed that the accused was drunk at the time of incident took place.
