New Delhi, March 03: A woman was strangled to death by her drunk husband in front of their kids here, Delhi Police said Wednesday.
“There was some petty dispute between Shikha, 30, and her husband Ranjit, 33, in Narela area of west Delhi Tuesday night,” said a senior police officer.
Police said that Ranjit strangled his wife, locked the house from outside and fled from the spot.
Neighbours said, in the morning, they heard the victim’s children crying inside the house and informed the police.
The accused is from Munger in Bihar and worked in a private company here, the official said.
