Drums bajaao, stress bhagaao

Hyderabad, August 29: Drumberries provides an absorbing, interactive drumming and rhythm experience. The founder of this event is Vehaan, co-founder is Meghna along with their team members — Aparna and Vijay.
It’s been a year since they started this programme. The group also organises such drumming events at corporates, schools and college for team building and group bonding. The group had their fourth session of drumming together at Sweet Nirvana in the city.

Vehaan taught the group how to play drums. He said, “The drums should be played slowly.

everyone should listen to others while playing and cheer others because the main purpose is to interact with each other.” The participants were provided with drums for a fee of Rs100.

People from all walks of life like corporate employees, engineering students, school children, degree students and many more were present at the interactive event.

Meghna, co-founder said, “ It’s about reacreation — shedding our inhibitions, learning to free ourselves, connecting with one another and flowing while accessing our inner rhythms.” The people who were a part of Aao Bajaao were seen enjoying together and leaving their problems aside.
They were cheering for each other, interacting and communicating with each other.

No one hesitated to play the drums but everyone played and participated wholeheartedly.

Mathew, who was at Aao Bajaao for the first time, said, “This is my first time at such an event and it was a lot of fun.

The ambience is filled with positive energy and the pleasant weather simply added to the charm.” People were there to refresh their minds and relieve their stress and mostly to enjoy.

After the event ended, the participants said that they learnt the values of interdependence, communicating, trust and team work.

Manjot Kaur, who had come to the event with a group of friends said, “The whole experience was extremely energising.
It definitely was a great place to come with friends and relax.” Another participant, Shiv Shankar, an engineering student said, “This was my second session and I liked it a lot.

I am always packed with college and studies and this was definitely a stress buster for me and my friends who joined in.” Drumming is a powerful pysiological activity.

It refreshes the mind and the impact of it is long lasting.
People who face problems in communication and hesitate to talk in a group, this event surely helps them by not only providing a platform to communicate, but also to play drums together and connect with others.
