Hyderabad: Tollywood star Bhupatiraju Ravi Shankar Raju alias Ravi Teja to appear before SIT on Friday in regards to the Tollywood drug case.
A notice was issued by SIT to Ravi Teja under Section 67 of NDPS Act after finding his driver’s number in the mobile phone book of alleged mastermind Calvin Mascarenhas. Earlier, Teja’s brothers were caught with drugs, the SIT may take his statements as strong evidence in this case as well, reports Deccan Chronicle.
The SIT may also ask him about, how often does industry organise drug parties. Besides asking about Mascarenhas’s role in drugs’ supply. Ravi Teja had earlier told media that he was not a drug addict and he would help SIT in the investigation.
Charmme, while investigation:
Actress Charmme Kaur, while appearing before the SIT on Wednesday, refused to take tea or coffee with milk and asked for green tea.
She accepted green tea supplied by the staff. She told media persons that she does yoga every day and takes green tea or hot water with honey. She had 500 ml of green tea over 7 hours of her grilling, officials told.
