Owner of Ghansham Das Jewellers was ripped off by his own driver who fled with Rs 53 lakh. The incident occurred at Abids, the area usually buzzing with activity. Sub inspector crime Abids police Mr. Qasim told that the owner of the jeweller shop Sanjay Agarwal resident of Domal Guda reached Abids to deposit the money in the bank however he could not deposit the amount in SBH for some reason. So he decided to go to another corporate bank and directed his driver to proceed.
Meanwhile he stopped the car and told the driver that he would come back within 5 minutes but when he returned he found that his driver Prakash had fled with Rs 53 lakh.
