Visakhapatnam: A 35-year-old driver allegedly raped two minor sisters living in his neighborhood in the Visakhapatnam.
The incident reportedly occurred a week ago but the victims mother learnt about the crime on Sunday and thus lodged a complaint against the accused with Pendurthy police station, TOI reports.
Sources in police said that the accused was identified as K Aravind, driver by profession and resident of Pendurthy area in Vizag city.
According to sources, the accused who lives in the neighbourhood befriended the girls by offering them chocolates, cakes and ice creams.
He took the victims to the city outskirts in a car and allegedly raped them.
The victims on reaching home narrated the incident to their mother.
The accused has been taken into custody.
