Drinking water scheme being implemented in 267 villages. DC

District Collector Budda Prakash Jyothi said that 267 villages were chosen for the implementation of drinking water scheme at a cost of Rs.118 crores. Addressing a review meeting of the National Rural Drinking Water Scheme, here today, he said the funds, earmarked for the implementation of the drinking water scheme, should be utilized fully. He asked the officials concerned to take necessary permissions from the departments concerned to dig-up roads to lay pipe lines.

He asked the officials to work in a coordinated manner to avoid delay and complete the drinking water scheme at the prescribed time. He asked the officials concerned to formulate a plan to carry out the scheme preciously and provide drinking water to the villages by the next summer and ensure that no drinking water scarcity is existed in the next summer.
