My dream is to make ‘Mahabharat’ one day: Aamir Khan

New Delhi, : Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, who is all geared up with his upcoming film ‘Secret Superstar,’ has a secret dream which is still to be fulfilled.

While talking exclusively to ANI, Aamir shared, “My dream is to make Mahabharat one day.”

Adding more to it, the ‘Dangal’ actor said, “It’s too scary as a dream, maybe that’s why. It’s a big dream and so let’s see if I can do it one day. ”

The actor-producer Khan, who is very particular about his work, has left no stone unturned and has been traveling all over the world for promotion of the film.

‘Secret Superstar’ is based on a teenage girl named Insia, played by Zaira Wasim, who sets out to follow her dream of being a singing superstar under the confinement of anonymity.

The film will also feature the ‘PK’ actor in a never seen before quirky avatar as a music composer Shakti Kumarr.

Owing to fulfilling his responsibilities as a producer, Aamir has taken a break from the shooting schedule of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ until Diwali.

The film has generated huge buzz owing to Aamir-Zaira returning to celluloid after ‘Dangal’ as well as the content of the film. The quirky character of Aamir has also piqued the interest of the audience.

The film’s trailer and the earlier released songs have been receiving much love and appreciation from all quarters.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, Zee Studios, and Akash Chawla, ‘Secret Superstar’ is written and directed by Advait Chandan. The film is slated to release on October 19. (ANI)
