Dream of golden Telangana incomplete without prosperity of Muslims: Hanumanth Rao

Secretary AICC and member Rajya Sabha Hanumanth Rao said that dream of Telangana was incomplete without the prosperity of Muslims. Addressing press conference here at Gandhi Bhawan he said, in its manifesto TRS had promised to remove illegal occupation from Waqf properties including Manikonda and hand over that to Muslims. Besides that High Court also maintained that Waqf land was given for IT Park not for construction of residential complex. On this remark of High Court Telangana government should have immediately come into action and the Waqf land given to Lagdapati Rajgopal should have been handed over to Waqf Board.

Hanumanth Rao asserted that keeping in view the future of Muslims Huzoor Nizam had endowed lakhs of acres of land; however Andhrite rulers and their supporters destroyed all that. Hence Telangana chief minister should show sympathy towards Muslims. TRS also had moved to Supreme Court in Lanco Hills case however even after 90 days of coming to power, government is a mute spectator.
