KOZHIKODE: Their dream comes true as Students from Mambaram English Medium Higher Secondary School, Thalassery are going to visit National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for their summer vacation project.
According to Deccan Chronicle, the two Adi Shankaran Young Scientists Award winning champs of 2017 got recognition for their innovative project.
The champs A.T. Shinjul and Sanjay Sudan will visit the NASA and stay there for 15 days. ‘More debris- more fuel’ the project among the other 3 was considered the best and selected from among 106 projects presented by students from all around the country and also from the UAE.
School principal Suresh Babu M said, “The project was highlighted for its timely relevance as the boys of my school have tried to create fuel from plastic waste.”
They had a confident to run the motor bike engine using fuel created from the plastic and also food waste.
With the visit to NASA they also got a bonus a trip to Disneyworld and Adi Shankaran Group of Institution scholarship to continue their further studies.
