Hyderabad: Selection of pilgrims for free stay in ‘Nizam Rubat’ at Makkah in Saudi Arabia will be done through draw of lots on May 13, at Chowmahalla Palace. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali called authorities of Hajj Committee and Nizam Trust and resolved the issue. Selection of pilgrims for Rubat accommodation will be done from among the aspirants of Azizia category belonging to Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka. 1283 lucky aspirants will find place in Rubat and they will save Rs. 47000.
Nawab Khairuddin Ali Khan, Abul Faiz Khan and Faiz bin Jang besides Special Officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor attended the meeting called by the Deputy Chief Minister.
Prof SA Shukoor, special officer, Telangana State Hajj Committee asked the pilgrims to be wary of middlemen who were promising them to give accommodation in Rubat. Only those selected in the ‘Qurrah’ will get accommodation.
Rubat Caretaker Husain Mohammed Al-Shareef will reach Hyderabad on May 11. He will attend the draw. Deputy Chief Minister will conduct the draw by pushing the button.
