Draw for accommodation permits in Rubat at Makkah

Hyderabad: Haj pilgrims belonging to 43 districts of the erstwhile Nizam’s State will have an opportunity to get free accommodation at Nizam rubat in Makkah.

Mr. Husain Mohammed Shareef has acquired 3 buildings to accommodate 1284 haj pilgrims for the haj season 2017. All arrangements have been made to make their stay comfortable.

Mr. Husain is visiting Hyderabad in the second week of May 2017. This was informed by Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Special Officer of Telangana Haj Committee. There will be a draw on 10th May to select the pilgrims to be accommodated in Rubat. 31 districts from Telangana, 8 from Maharashtra and 4 from Karnataka would be included in the draw. In Azizia category, the number of Haj pilgrims from Telangana is 2596 whereas in the eight districts of Maharashtra it is 2083 and from 4 districts of Karnataka there are 572 applicants.

Prof. Shukoor informed that out of 5251 Haj pilgrims, 1284 would be selected through the draw.

It may be mentioned that every haj pilgrim would be able to save Rs. 58000 if he gets free accommodation in this manner.

With the efforts of Dy. CM of Telangana, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, the number of Haj pilgrims to be accommodated in the Rubat has increased this year. Last year, Mr. Husain had supplied meals three times to the occupants of the Rubat but this time, he has offered only one time meals free.
