Unscrupulous elements sitting on the graves busy playing various games, graves being demolished and transformed into houses are a common sight these days but for the first time it has been witnessed that a drainage pipeline runs through and graveyard and unfortunately the drainage water is overflowing from the manhole.
Siasat correspondent narrates ‘when we reached the graveyard to perform burial of a dead body we were shocked to see that impure drainage water is flowing through the graves. People were forced to lift their trousers to prevent them from getting fouled.
The question arises how come the drainage pipeline was laid inside the graveyard of Dargah Hazrat Meeran Husaini? Who permitted to lay the pipeline? If it was laid then why it has not been repaired although it is overflowing?
This is the story of graveyard of Dargah Hazrat Meeran Husaini but the city mosques also could not safeguard themselves from being defiled. Drainage water is flowing for nearly 8 months in front of Masjid Syed Al-konain located at Rahmatpura.
