Over flowing manholes and nalas here and there have become a constant headache for the residents of old city. The worst part of it is that the dirty water get mixed with the water leaked from water pipeline and makes the whole street stinky. As a result women, elders, children and Namazis have tough time to go through the area.
According to reports a nala flowing near Khadija Garden, Chone ki Bhatti, phool Bagh is overflowing since 4 month. It overflows on the road leading to Chone ki Bhatti crossroad. Locals say that on making complaint, the concern officials open the manhole lid situated near the nala consequently the filthy water flows inside the manhole for the time being but the problem returns after few days.
