GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy today held an all-party meeting on amendment of photo voters list for 2017 of 15 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district.
The GHMC Commissioner and Hyderabad district election officer said draft voters list would be released on October 31. Claims and objections would be accepted from October 31 to November 31. The voters list would be displayed and shown from November 5 to 19 at gram panchayats, local bodies, residential welfare associations seeking clarifications if any from the public.
Later, a special meeting would be held with political parties at booth level and claims and objections would be resolved by December 15, he said. Janardhan Reddy said final list of photo identity voters list would be published by January 14, 2017. (NSS)
