Hyderabad: Chief Secretary SK Joshi today said a draft plan will be ready to accord permissions from several departments to hold festivals, exhibitions and meetings in the State.
The Chief Secretary held a high-level meeting at Secretariat today and asked the officials to prepare a perfect draft plan to give permissions to several programs. He instructed the officials to coordinate and ensure speedy permissions to any sort of meetings, functions and exhibitions in the State. Managements or those involved in the programs should give self certification to obtain necessary permissions, he said.
The government will give instructions on holding similar events or programs at permanent buildings and temporary buildings. These programs will be categorized and suggestions will be given on operation protocol and norms to be followed for the same. He also said the police officials will hold field level checkups for smooth and peaceful conduct of the events. For programs like fish prasadam and Numayish or industrial exhibition in Nampally, the departments will coordinate and give guidelines for smooth conduct of such events. Proforma of permissions will be easy and hassle-free with a focus on security to people, he added.
