Hyderabad, September 19: The Mala Sankshema Sangam (MSS) has demanded the government to remove the APFSL scientific officer Dr Venkanna from his duties immediately for taking bribe in a foreign woman rape case issue.
Speaking to the media at NSS News Center here on Saturday, the Sangam leaders Mr B Ram Prasad, Mr P Anil Kumar, Mr G Srinivas and others have alleged that the ACB has caught Dr Venkanna, while taking bribe of Rs 5.12 lakh. They alleged that Dr Venkanna had also submitted a false forensic report to the Vijayawada Women Sessions Judge against innocent person Mr Sathyam babu in the Ayesha Meera murder case. They said that Ms Shamshad Begum, the mother of Ayesha Meera, has alleged that the police were trying to save the real culprits in the case by pulling Mr Sathyam into this case.
The MSS leaders demanded the government to reveal the truth as to how much money transferred from the hands of the leaders to Dr Venkanna to save the real culprits in the Ayesha Meera murder case. The MSS leaders demanded the government to suspend Dr Venkanna taking back his Degree certificates. Mr Deepak Kumar, Mr G Sathyanarayana, Mr G Vinod Kumar, Mr G Prabhakar and Mr M Sagar Kumar were also present.
