Earlier this month, a job application by a young woman to a marketing company went viral.

The applicant applied for a job at marketing company Kickass Masterminds but was stunned to see when the company reposted a picture of her standing in a pool and wearing a bikini from her private Instagram account.

The picture carried the following caption:

“I am looking for a professional marketer – not a bikini model. Go on with your bad self and do whatever in private. But this is not doing you any favors finding a professional job.”

The company received numerous death threats and thousands of harassing messages.
